Speakers

Matt Kyle

Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer, weConnect

Matt has helped over 2,000 companies enter and operate in Japan the past 15 years. Everything from what kind of company should be set up to how to get visibility over the business to how to hire, retain and manage talent in Japan.

Matt is also a Co-Founder of Arigato Travel which creates delicious, tailored itineraries for foreigners traveling to Japan. Arigato supports over 1,000 guests to Japan each month and Matt helped grow it from zero. Matt focuses on direction, strategic partnerships, compliance, business development, sales and growth.

Beyond this Matt is helping grow two software companies, one which will help global management of payroll called Breeze, and one to help manage tour and experience operations in tourism locations around the world called TourKeepr. Both started in Japan but will have a global impact.

Matt not only provides advice on entering and operating in Japan, he has proven over and over again he knows what it takes to build a business from zero in a country notorious for being a challenging market to start in.
