The APAC region is uniquely diverse. The population of Brunei is under 500,000 whilst Indonesia's exceeds 275 million. Laos's GDP per capita is approximately $2,500; Singapore's is over $82,000. The ASEAN bloc is on track to equate to world's fourth largest economy by 2030, behind the US, China and Japan. The UK's ties to APAC are already strong with three of the UK's top 20 export markets in the APAC region and an ever-growing number of UK-APAC trade agreements and regional partnerships.
