Dame Anya Hindmarch

CEO, Anya Hindmarch

Dame Anya Hindmarch is a British accessories designer, design and arts advocate, sustainability campaigner and Sunday Times bestselling author. She founded her eponymous brand in London in 1987 and is currently working as its Creative Director and Chief Executive Officer.

In June 2024, Anya was made a dame in the King’s Birthday Honours for her services to fashion and business. She has many further responsibilities including as UK Trade Ambassador, Non-Executive Director of the British Fashion Council and Trustee of both The Royal Academy and The Design Museum. She was awarded the Veuve Clicquot and Harpers Bazaar Businesswoman of the Year Awards in 2012.

Irina has worked in the private and public sectors, both in the UK and overseas. She has helped businesses of all sizes to develop their sales overseas, working across multiple sectors and markets. 

With a particular interest in international market research, international communications and cultural awareness, Irina has led delegations of UK businesses on market visits and trade missions organised by Chambers of Commerce and DBT.
