Description
Ensuring your goods get from A to B is essential when you start exporting. This session is the first of two which outline basic customs procedures. We will begin by outlining your responsibilities an exporter, before moving on to describe the factors which affect your export paperwork. This will include an overview of common documentation which is required for export.
We’ll also consider some common issues, such as the means of transportation for your goods and obtaining proof of export. And finally, we’ll signpost you to resources that can offer further support.

Rimante has worked for a range of private and public sector organisations both in the UK and overseas. She has over 20 years of both import and export experience in various international markets, including 16 years living and working in South Korea, which allowed her to gain invaluable exposure to Asian markets and business culture. She has experience across retail, education, consumer electronics, food and nutraceutical sectors.
